My New Years resolution is to improve my free-motion quilting (FMQ) skills and have fun organizing & cleaning my sewing room, by finishing some UFOs that are taking up too much space.

My New Year's Resolution is to have no New Year Resolutions - I don't stick to them anyway. But I do need to buy or acquire loads of stash as this is my latest obsession.

Patricia x
I didn't make any resolutions, but I do hope to do more crafting and quilting.
I shared on Facebook!
Don't have a resolution, I never keep them anyway! But I plan to do lots more quilting and to learn more skills this year.
My New Year's Resolution was to get organized! My hubby bought me a desk with bookshelves for Christmas, so I spent yesterday sorting fabric and craft stuffs - it's always nice to find things that you forgot you had!
I don't make New Years Resolutions.... if you have a good idea you should just do it :-) That said I'm on a finish all my projects thing at the moment. I suppose that could count as a resolution.
Beautiful fabrics! I love pink, so this one would be perfect for me. ;) No resolutions here. Just spent yesterday cleaning my sewing room, so I guess I could resolve to keep it clean! :)

I just shared on FB! Thanks for the hint about the FB button at the bottom.

Such lovely fabrics - you're right, it's a perfect way to chase away the winter blahs. As far as a New Years resolution - I'm one of those folks that have been "left behind" with all the technical things that have come out in the past years. I don't tweet, twitter, facebook, don't have an iPad, a Kindle, or even a phone that takes photos. I only recently started to text. So I resolve to at least overcome one of those technical issues I seem to have problems with, and overcome that hurdle. dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com
Of course I e-mailed three friends so I could get a second entry (since I don't have a blog (forgot to mention that one in my earlier comment) and don't twitter or facebook. dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com
My intentions this year is to complete a lap quilt that has been waiting patiently for 2 years! It's high time I get it done.
My New Years resolution is motivation + inspiration = results, my mantra for my sewing and photography this year!
My New Years resolution is to be more creative! In ever which way that I can :)

One of my resolutions is to sew/quilt more this year and practice my FMQ.

My new years resolution to to maybe get to work on time (well sort of on time :) ) and to quilt more!!
My resolution is to make no resolution. Instead, there are things I want to do - learn the features on my mother's new sewing machine and how to machine quilt. Right now taking care of mother is my priority. As we sit together I'm handquilting a lap quilt. If win, Isabella fqs could be the bundle used for my first Schnibbles quilt.
Love this fabric! I would make a throw quilt for my living room couch. Gotta get the Christmas one outta there :-).
My New Years resolution is to make a quilt this year. I know, "a" quilt sounds wimpy, but for me it would be quite an accomplishment. Winning this giveaway would be a great motivator and wouldn't that quilt be oh so beautiful!
My resolution is to finish two projects so I can start another one quilt using Isabella.
I would love to make placemats and a table runner out of Isabella for my table!
I just tweeted about this giveaway!

I dont do resolutions - I do challenges - 1. walk 30 min a day EVERY DAY rain or shine. 2. take a photo every day and have a post once a week of the weeks photos. Should be managable. =)

With this lovely fat quarter bundle, I'd make a quilt for my great niece that was born on my birthday three years ago. Her room is pink! I have a newer great niece, but her momma doesn't like pink. I'm gonna be a grandma again and he's another boy, so I'd bless the great niece (Natalee Clara). I sure hope I win so she is more blessed than she already is!
I posted a message on facebook with a link to your blog so the folks can enter. I even made it easy for them to enter, too. I want the right person to win!
Use my machine's embroidery module and make some $$$ with my sewing.
One of my resolutions is to sew more this year and use the fabrics I have been collecting in piles! I see a skirt made with Isabella...
Best wishes for 2011
I resolve to sew more and buy less... Too buy none at all would be totally unrealistic...buying less may even be beyond my capabilites. Thanks for the giveaway. nanasew at gmail dot com
I want to make this a year of table runners for myself and gifts; I've never made one in all my quilting years!!!!
I want to use the swap blocks I've been collecting and finally make a few quilt tops from them...I think I have at least 8 sets of blocks waiting for settings!
I want to start my yoyo tablecloth that has been simmering in my mind for two years...I have everything I need to start!
3 well chosen plans...will they be accomplished????
I included your gieaway in my blog today:
http://straystitches1.blogspot.com/2011/01/my-goal-was-snap.html
I am making a resolution to try and leave more comments on the blogs I read and be less of a lurker :)
It's so beautiful - I might make some handbags or a quilt with them :)
Thanks for the chance!
I am going to work on finishing projects and cleaning up after myself while sewing.
I avoid "resolutions." I have had too many "failures" in the past (ha). I am determined to make more time for my quilting and sewing projects, keep my sewing area tidy and enjoy myself in the process. Happy quilting.
I posted to FB.
I twittered this.
My resolution is to be more patient and understanding with my children, to yell less. My children, boys aged 8 and 5, think it is a GREAT resolution!
I don't usually make resolutions, but I am hoping to improve my machine quilting skills in this New Year!
I'd like to finish more quilts than last year with at least one a month going to charity's.
I blogged about the fantastic Isabella fat quarter giveaway. Happy quiilting.
My New Years resolution is try really hard to be in the moments. Usually my brain is going 100 mile per hour and it never stops. So even when I relaxing I am thinking of 25 other things that need to done.
What lovely fabric. I think it would make a wonderful spring quilt.
Beautiful fabric! I hope to continue to finish UFO's. This past year I finished one of my mother's that she started in the 1970's!!!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

My New Year's resolution is to get myself organized! I need to organize my desk, my reading materials, my knitting projects, my fabrics, and the list of quilts I need to work on.
To complete my first quilt is my resolution for 2011. I would use this cheery fabric to make a table runner for my kitchen table should I be fortunate to win these fat quarters. Susan

I'd love to make a little girls' apron with Isabella!
My resolution is to create more, and clean house less! Love this fabric line! Thanks!
That fabric line is super-special to me, because I have a 6-month-old niece named Isabella, and it would be a crime not to make her a quilt with her namesake fabric!
to be more organized!
My resolution is to be more organized too. OMG do I need it!!! Also to quilt more and finish 2010 projects first. I have abig job cut out for me!!!!!
I didn't bother to make any this year, but just sew
I am planning on decluttering my life. Getting rid of all those things I don't need anymore. Weather it be clothes I don't wear, friends I don't really speak with, or credit cards I don't/shouldn't use anymore. It will help me simplify my life and see what is really important
My New Years Resolution is to make 3 complete "60 yrs" birthday quilts by May 1st.
One for my oldest sister who turned 60 in Mar/09 (better late than never). Plus one for each younger sister (twins) who turn 60 on May 15th. Have already started piecing one of them.
If I win this fabric..might use it for the belated quilt. Disappearing 9 patch comes to mind.
I have also sent emails to 10 fellow quilters regarding this draw.
I'd love to try my hand at some aprons! My resolution is to learn how to sew *properly*!
I don't really make resolutions...but I would like to try to sew and/or quilt more! I was busy making little quilted Christmas bags for the "girls" for Christmas...and am now looking for a new project! Thanks for the fun giveaway!

My new year's resolution is to finish a ufo before I start on something new and then repeat.
My goal is to be more organized!
I'd love to win this because I'm a fan of Amy's & winning her fab fabric would inspire me to use it to actually make a quilt. I've been apprehensive about starting my first one. Also, my maiden name happens to be the same as her last name. I think that's pretty cool!
My new year's resolution is to create - and this looks like it would be lovely fabric to create with!
Whatever I make, I'm keeping it! I love this fabric!
Well my New Years resolution is to get healthy. Not doing the lose weight thing. Just eat healthy and everything else will follow
Thanks for the great giveaway. I'd love to win. My quilting resolution is to make more smaller projects this year and get caught up on my BOMs.
I don't really do new year resolutions. If I was lucky enough to win, I'd make a quilt with just squares. Keep it simple and show off the fabrics.
I don't really do new year resolutions. If I was lucky enough to win, I'd make a quilt with just squares. Keep it simple and show off the fabrics.
My New Year resolution is to:
1. tackle ALL my UFOs.

That should keep me busy and out of trouble, shouldn't it?
My resolution is to focus on one thing at a time!
Thanks for the give away
SheilaC
My new year's resolution is to use from my stash and get some of the ufos finished, or at least get the tops sewed together!
My resolution is to not have a resolution. I can never keep them anyway.
And I would have to play with the Isabella for a while before it told me what it wants made up as.
My New Year;s resolution is to lose 2 lbs/month for the year. Trying to lose that baby weight! :)
Good luck to all those who have new years resolutions, I hope we all succeed. Sure, I want to change some things, but mostly, I want to be happy with what I have (and that's not always easy).
Beautiful fabrics! My new years resolution is to do more sewing, more exercise and spend more time with family! No idea how i'm going to fit it all yet in though.. :)
lovely fabrics, and I'd like to do some dresses for my little daughters, spring spring....
Ysabel.
I don't facebook or twitter, but I did email 4 friends about the giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity to win!=)
I have a few resolutions this year. The biggest is to have the dishes washed before I go to bed every night. I know that may sound sort of silly, but it makes me really happy to have them done. I also have a few UFO's that I want to finish this year as they whisper at me all the time, 'finish me, please finish me' so, I think it's about time they are taken care of. There are more resolutions, but these are the two most important ones.
My sewing projects have been on hold so this would get me started again! Thanks! And Happy new year! ♥
My resolution is to keep my sewing going. At the end of last year I started sewing, picked up a cheap sewing machine and away I went...I was hooked!! The thing is I've now run out of the fabric I bought to make my chrismas presents and things are pretty tight with money so can't buy any more for a while.
I would love to make a quilt, it would be my first and has always been a goal.
i have facebooked this!

My new years resolution is to lose 2 pounds/month and to quilt more. Right now I'm unemployed so I have no excuses.Wish me luck!!!
I have quilt resolutions this year and one is to use brighter, more contemporary fabrics than I usually use. Your generous fat quarter giveaway fits right in! I'm interested in medallion quilts now, designing the borders as I go along; these fabrics would inspire me.
Thanks very much.

My New Years resolution is to learn to quilt. For my first project I've started a quilt for my elderly beagle. She will be 12 in a few months and loves to snuggle under a throw. I have the top made, the sandwich pinned together and will be starting on the free motion quilting this weekend.
My resolution was to start a Christmas quilt for my bed in January so I would have it completed by December 1, 2011.
My New Years goal for 2011 is to organize all the sewing/quilting machines I wish to have and finally purchase a new one to keep up with all the unfinished quilting projects still needing finished.
