January 2011 Giveaway - Isabella

We Have A Winner!!!
The winner is thegoose who said "I gave up on resolutions years ago, so I can't tell you that, but I can tell you that with this lovely material I would make a quilt." Thegoose also earned extra entries because she e-mailed her friends about the Giveaway! Congratulations!
Happy January! This month we're giving away a 9 piece Pink Isabella Fat Quarter Bundle by Lila Tueller. This seems like the perfect fabric collection to chase away any winter blahs!

Here's how to enter:

-Leave a blog comment about your New Year's resolution or what you want to make with Isabella or whatever thought crosses your mind for one entry
-Tweet about this Giveaway for another entry
-Mention this Giveaway on Facebook for another entry
-Mention this Giveaway on your Blog for another entry
-And I know not everyone has their own Blog or Twitter or Facebook account.....So, you can receive an extra entry if you let me know that you e-mailed at least 3 friends and told them about this.

Soooo.....you can "earn" up to FIVE chances to win this bundle!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be sure to leave a blog comment for every additional entry you do. For example....Leave your first blog comment about whatever crosses your mind for your first entry. But be sure to leave another comment saying "I tweeted this" or "I Facebooked this," etc. so I know that you get extra chances to win.

And you may notice the handy dandy little grey buttons at the bottom of each blog post for Twitter, Facebook, etc. It's just a simple way to spread the word!

The Giveaway ends on January 31, 2011. The winner will be chosen on February 1, 2011.

Good Luck and Happy Sewing,

My New Years resolution is to improve my free-motion quilting (FMQ) skills and have fun organizing & cleaning my sewing room, by finishing some UFOs that are taking up too much space.

I don't make New Years Resolutions.... if you have a good idea you should just do it :-) That said I'm on a finish all my projects thing at the moment. I suppose that could count as a resolution.

Such lovely fabrics - you're right, it's a perfect way to chase away the winter blahs. As far as a New Years resolution - I'm one of those folks that have been "left behind" with all the technical things that have come out in the past years. I don't tweet, twitter, facebook, don't have an iPad, a Kindle, or even a phone that takes photos. I only recently started to text. So I resolve to at least overcome one of those technical issues I seem to have problems with, and overcome that hurdle. dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com

Of course I e-mailed three friends so I could get a second entry (since I don't have a blog (forgot to mention that one in my earlier comment) and don't twitter or facebook. dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com

I have a few resolutions this year. The biggest is to have the dishes washed before I go to bed every night. I know that may sound sort of silly, but it makes me really happy to have them done. I also have a few UFO's that I want to finish this year as they whisper at me all the time, 'finish me, please finish me' so, I think it's about time they are taken care of. There are more resolutions, but these are the two most important ones.

I would love to lose some weight, fix my house and finish a bunch of projects but we all know that probably won't happen

My new years resolution is to lose 2 pounds/month and to quilt more. Right now I'm unemployed so I have no excuses.Wish me luck!!!

I have quilt resolutions this year and one is to use brighter, more contemporary fabrics than I usually use. Your generous fat quarter giveaway fits right in! I'm interested in medallion quilts now, designing the borders as I go along; these fabrics would inspire me.
Thanks very much.

My New Years resolution is to learn to quilt. For my first project I've started a quilt for my elderly beagle. She will be 12 in a few months and loves to snuggle under a throw. I have the top made, the sandwich pinned together and will be starting on the free motion quilting this weekend.

My resolution was to start a Christmas quilt for my bed in January so I would have it completed by December 1, 2011.

My New Years goal for 2011 is to organize all the sewing/quilting machines I wish to have and finally purchase a new one to keep up with all the unfinished quilting projects still needing finished.
