May 2010 Giveaway - Nicey Jane

We Have A Winner!
The winner is Liz who said: "Oddly enough, although I love Nicey Jane, I haven't bought any so far! I'd love to win!" Liz, please send me an e-mail with your full name and address and I'll send your prize out to you! Congratulations!
Please Note: New Giveaway Rules!!!

Happy May! This month we're giving away a Nicey Jane Fat Quarter Bundle by Heather Bailey. These fabrics are so fresh and bright and colorful and absolutely perfect for spring!

New Giveaway Rules!!! Please leave a comment on the blog to be entered in the Giveaway. We've decided to try something different and will chose a winner randomly from the blog comments instead of from e-mails. The winner will be announced on this blog post on June 1, 2010. So the last day to enter is May 31, 2010. You have to check this blog post on June 1 to see if you won!!! Don't forget. Because if I don't hear from the winner within one week I'll have to pick a new winner.

Why the change? Well, I've got a couple of reasons. First of all, you guys send so many sweet, cute and funny messages that it's not fair that I'm the only one that gets to see them! Second of all, it takes a really, really, really long time to go through all those e-mails. Time that I could be using to make new quilt kits and fat quarter bundles and other goodies for you wonderful people. Or time that I could be using to sit on the sofa and eat bon-bons. Either one works for me.

And if you're not on the e-mail Newsletter list please send me an e-mail with the word Newsletter in the subject or text and I'll sign you up. The Newsletter has all the good info on the giveaways and sales and new products and other fun stuff!

Good Luck & Happy Sewing,
Jenny

P.S. You can read about last months giveaway here. It's a Pink & Brown Hushabye Fat Quarter Bundle. The winner is Kim F. of Arlington, Texas. Congratulations Kim!

I"m a Nicey Mary, and could make something really pretty from the Nicey Jane fabrics!

I just love all the fabrics that you have at Sew Fabulous. I recently ordered some Darla fat quarter bundles in pink and I'm using them to make a quilt for my cousin who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Shhhhhhhh! It's a surprise!

I've had my eye on the Nicey Jane collection, but have been practicing restraint! Maybe you'll make that restraint unnecessary. Thanks!

The fabric is beautiful. I'm going to have my hands busy making baby quilts. My nephew and his wife lost EVERYTHING in a tornado in Tecumseh, OK - just east of Oklahoma city. They have two young sons. This is the second time my nephew has lost everything - last time he lived in Moore - just south of Oklahoma City - he is a school teacher. My quilt guild is giving me quilts for the the two little guys, but I don't think they can ever have too many. I just don't know what else I can do to show that I love and care about them. There has been so much division in our family. His uncle walked out on me and this nephew (and his sister) have never been anything but loving to me. Apparently, he posted a scripture on facebook and said they would be ok. I bet I could put the fabric to use in a quilt either for the babies or for Mom and Dad of those guys.

I'm a vicarious quilter, so it would be fun to see what I could do with real fabric! My mom quilts beautifully, but she lives in Texas and so she's absolutely no help to me whatsoever! It would sure make my husband happy to see my sewing machine (which is still in the box since 1999!) actually being used!

Thanks for a truly eye popping refreshing site. Your selection of fabrics is great. Having all granddaughters who are young and I sew for, I would love to win Nicey Jane and whip up some cute clothes, hats, bibs.....etc. Nice to see more than just the pink and purple most of them are clammering for. I am also involved with quilts for St. Jude's here locally and we regularly donate quilts the kids can take with them. Some of this fabric would certainly brighten their day. Thanks so much!!

I am going to like this new format better (comment on blog rather than send an email), but I would ask you to consider emailing the winner and giving them 3 days to respond before another is chosen?
Nicey Jane is a nice line. Everything I've seen made with it looks so fresh and inviting.

Nancy said...

OHHH!! WHat i could do with that fabric. Love your shop!!!

btegert@comcast.net said...

Wow! A fat quarter bundle of Nicey Jane! Would love to add that to my collection of projects!! What fun. My husband keeps asking me to please not to buy any more fabric! If I won some, he wouldn't be able to say anything about that, now could he?? While I spend every moment possible quilting, I can't wait for retirement to have more time to sew!!! BT from Chicago
