January 2012 Giveaway - Hooterville Quilt Pattern

We Have A Winner!
The winner is Sallie who said "I like it the way you have it. I'd definitely use blue. Thanks for the great giveaway!" Congratulations Sallie! Send me an e-mail and I'll send your Hooterville pattern to you!

Happy January! I meant to post this Giveaway on the 1st......I really did.....but did anyone else have trouble getting back into their normal routine after the holidays??? I'm still just a little bit lost and out of sorts and can't remember what I'm supposed to be doing! But I'll figure it out eventually. Anyway, this month we're giving away a Hooterville Quilt Pattern. It's the most popular pattern we've ever had in the shop! Everyone loves those wide eyes owls!!!
And instead of having the Giveaway run for the whole month it's only going to be open for one week. I guess in the past I always wanted to give people plenty of time to enter.....but then I realized that there weren't many people entering the Giveaways after the first week. So, we'll make this one short and sweet. Just leave a comment to be entered to win. I'd love to hear what colors or fabrics you would want to use in the Hooterville quilt. And if you blog about this giveaway or tweet about it or do a Facebook post about it you can leave additional comments to receive extra chaces to win. I'll pick a winner on Friday, January 13, 2012. Last day to enter is Thursday, January 12, 2012 at midnight.

Good Luck and Happy Sewing,
Jenny

P.S. Be sure to check last months Giveaway to see if you're the big winner.

I would make it in bright colors similar to the pattern picture. This quilt would be darling for a boy or a girl. Maybe I should tell my daughter it's time for another garndbaby.

I love, love, love this pattern!! My daughter loves owls! She would want pinks and purples for the colors.

Lee Ann L. said...

to be honest, I think those owls would be cute to use on a quilt with fabric I purchased for a Halloween baby. (the fabric is called Trick or Treat by Riley Blake). She will be two years old this October 31st. :-)

Thank you for a chance to win!

Scrappy for sure - but - maybe in browns and greens with some burgundy and navy blue? Even though it is whimsical - I think it would be cozy in those earthy colors.
I'd really love to have this pattern. My niece has a blog named
Owls in the moss =- so I'd probably have to "hang" some moss in the trees ;)

I think I would chose browns and greens and yellows and orange, and make it a "boyish" quilt. I always tend to make "girly" quilts to donate to our quilt group, who in turn bring them to children in local hospitals. This one would make a terrific quilt for a little guy. Thanks for the idea...

I just love this pattern. In fact I have it on my "Must do someday" list.
My sister is soon getting married and I know they will try to have a baby short after, so this will be baby's first quilt. Colours will depend on it being a boy or a girl, although I love it as in the picture. Could do for both.
Thanks a lot!
