We Have A Winner!
The winner is Sallie who said "I like it the way you have it. I'd definitely use blue. Thanks for the great giveaway!" Congratulations Sallie! Send me an e-mail and I'll send your Hooterville pattern to you!Happy January! I meant to post this Giveaway on the 1st......I really did.....but did anyone else have trouble getting back into their normal routine after the holidays??? I'm still just a little bit lost and out of sorts and can't remember what I'm supposed to be doing! But I'll figure it out eventually. Anyway, this month we're giving away a Hooterville Quilt Pattern. It's the most popular pattern we've ever had in the shop! Everyone loves those wide eyes owls!!!
And instead of having the Giveaway run for the whole month it's only going to be open for one week. I guess in the past I always wanted to give people plenty of time to enter.....but then I realized that there weren't many people entering the Giveaways after the first week. So, we'll make this one short and sweet. Just leave a comment to be entered to win. I'd love to hear what colors or fabrics you would want to use in the Hooterville quilt. And if you blog about this giveaway or tweet about it or do a Facebook post about it you can leave additional comments to receive extra chaces to win. I'll pick a winner on Friday, January 13, 2012. Last day to enter is Thursday, January 12, 2012 at midnight.
Good Luck and Happy Sewing,
Jenny
P.S. Be sure to check last months Giveaway to see if you're the big winner.

Green and brown: the perfect mix for a wood's quilt...
I blogged about this at http://salliessampler.blogspot.com/2012/01/hooterville-quilt-pattern-giveaway-at.html
I'd have fun going through my stash to find just the right fabrics! Thanks for the chance.
I absolutely love those sweet owls! I think I would use yellow and gray fabrics if I won! :) Thank you for this opportunity!
I would make it in bright colors similar to the pattern picture. This quilt would be darling for a boy or a girl. Maybe I should tell my daughter it's time for another garndbaby.
I love, love, love this pattern!! My daughter loves owls! She would want pinks and purples for the colors.
to be honest, I think those owls would be cute to use on a quilt with fabric I purchased for a Halloween baby. (the fabric is called Trick or Treat by Riley Blake). She will be two years old this October 31st. :-)
Thank you for a chance to win!

Love the owls! Would be cute in pinks and browns
This looks like a great pattern for using up all those scraps I have loitering! Thanks for the giveaway1
That is just the cutest pattern! And I have a pair of pj bottoms that match perfectly, so I'd have to make the quilt with a violet background and yellow owls, red/white check owls, gray owls, and red owls! Cute, no?
I would use lots of bright colors.
I love that pattern! For a boy I would use aquas and browns and for a girl it would be bright pinks and greens and oranges.
That pattern is ADORABLE! I think I would make it using polka dots. I have a guild challenge to use pin dot fabric, and these owls would look so cute in dots!
Sandy A

I would make this for one of my granddaughters, and I would definitely use aquas, reds, and pinks. I love this pattern! I always call my town Hooterville, (it's really Bargersville) so how perfect would this be?

I'd love to make this cute quilt for the new baby. Thanks for a chance.
What a great giveaway, I've just purchased some wonderful fabric to start what is to be my very first quilting experience. Have to stop blogging and go and sew. TFS will Tweet and do whatever else I can to promote for you.

Scrappy for sure - but - maybe in browns and greens with some burgundy and navy blue? Even though it is whimsical - I think it would be cozy in those earthy colors.
I'd really love to have this pattern. My niece has a blog named
Owls in the moss =- so I'd probably have to "hang" some moss in the trees ;)

So cute. I'd probably go with orange/brown/green as a throwback to growing up in the 70's with lots of owls!
A baby quilt in one of those new fabrics you just posted!!!
I too thing the Pam Kitty Morning line would be perfect for the Hooterville Quilt and I would use mostly the greens.
I will make this as a baby quilt- too cute!!
I'd make this pattern for the new babies with fabrics to match their nurseries. It is too cute. A great pattern to keep on hand for the new arrivals.
I would like to keep this on hand for the baby blankets i like to make for new arrivals. It could be done with fabrics to match each child's nursery.
My daughter is expecting in April and wants something with purples and teals...that is how I would work up this pattern....just too cute!
my good friend online is a owl lover, and I would love to win this to give to her, for her to make her own creative wallhanging, quilt, tabletopper or whatever she wants of it. It is so neat-thank you for the opportunity

I like the Blue posey with pink. I think little pink owle would be cute.
I think I would chose browns and greens and yellows and orange, and make it a "boyish" quilt. I always tend to make "girly" quilts to donate to our quilt group, who in turn bring them to children in local hospitals. This one would make a terrific quilt for a little guy. Thanks for the idea...
This would be perfect for my 1 year old! He has lots of owl items. I would use some reds, blues, and browns in this.
Have loved this pattern for awhile - just haven't purchased it yet - Thanks for the chance :)

I just love this pattern. In fact I have it on my "Must do someday" list.
My sister is soon getting married and I know they will try to have a baby short after, so this will be baby's first quilt. Colours will depend on it being a boy or a girl, although I love it as in the picture. Could do for both.
Thanks a lot!
I love this pattern - I'd use brown as the main color and brights, especially blues and greens - for our boys!

I love wise old owls! I would use a lot of blues (since I already have material left over from another quilt) and add some beiges, browns and a bit of red and yellow.
Reds and creams would be my colour of choice....but to be fair I have never, ever seen a red and cream owl!
This is such a cheerful pattern. It begs for cheerful fabric like Pam Kitty.
on January 12th is my daughter's birthday (she'll be 6), I hope I can win this pattern and make it for her, she loves the owls!!!!!
I have been wanting this pattern and have been procrastinating about getting it! Maybe I'll get this one...hope so.
I'd like to make this for my son & daughter-in-law's first baby, a girl due in April, so pinks, purples, greens and yellows with some light browns.

What an awesome pattern, and giving everyone a chance to win this is great. Thanks Jen. Since I have 3 grand-daughters who are small and one middle school, I am sure I would find one of them who would just love to snuggle under this quilt. Good Luck to Everyone!!
