Happy July! It's been waaaaayyyyy too long since we've had a Giveaway, don't you think?! And we have so much to celebrate right now - new puppies, new houses, surviving the move to California, being halfway through the year and Sew Fab's 4th birthday! Well.....the birthday was actually on June 1st but since I was a wee bit busy preparing to move across the country on short notice at that time I actually forgot about Sew Fab's B-Day! Oops! So, this year we'll just pretend that the birthday is on July 1st! Better late than never, right?!
To celebrate, we're going to give away a 12 piece Madhuri Fat Quarter Bundle by The Quilted Fish for Riley Blake. I just love all of the bright, juicy, summery colors in this collection!
And the selvage.....oh my.....the selvage on these prints is just amazing! There is a rainbow of elephants on the selvage. Selvage collectors rejoice! It's total cuteness overload!
As always, just leave a comment to be entered to win. I'd love to hear what you want to make with the Madhuri collection. A quilt? Do you have a specific pattern in mind? Or maybe a sundress? Or maybe a tote bag? Or do you just need to get your hands on some and see it in real life to find your inspiration?
I'm thinking this fabric would look great in the Camping In Style quilt pattern that I just ordered for the shop (I'll let you know when it arrives). I think the larger floral and elephant prints would look great in the center parts of the blocks and the smaller prints and some solids would look great as the thinner "frame" portion of the blocks. What do you think?

P.S. As you probably already know, the selvage "dots" only shows the colors in THAT print. So the prints with fewer colors won't have as many elephants on the selvage.

Really striking patterns on this fabric - love it! My daughter is posted in South Asia, where they really have elephants, so I would probably make her a throw quilt...and make me a little something from what's leftover so I can "connect" with her when I see the fabric! Miss her something awful!

I am searching for a couple more prints for a wedding quilt for my brother & soon to be sister in law. I think the Madhuri prints will blend in perfectly :-).

My niece is just back in Canada after teaching for a year in Australia. She is setting up her own place now and a quilt for her sofa would be great made out of these colourful fabrics.

This is the most fun collection! I actually think I would give it to a friend who is about to become a grandmother for the first time -- it would make a perfect baby quilt!

My Goddaughter just found out she is having a baby & called me to ask me to make a baby quilt.She said I had 7 months to get it done. This fabric would be wonderful. I just started doing projects that call for brights and I'm looking at your fabric now to see about a bundle package do do chevron pattern or circle pattern called fruit slices.

I love to work with the fabrics, designs, and colors used by the designers for fabric for use in sewing and quilting for infants, toddlers, and young children. I will have a new grandchild soon, and these fabrics are so appealing.

I love to show off my "stash". If I won it, it would go at the TOP of my stash pile and when my sister comes over and asks me if I have gotten anything new, I'll take it off the top and hand it to her. I would even let her cut off the salvages, because she uses some of them for her doll clothes she makes..
I must say, this fabric is so sweet! That's why I would use it to make a quilt for my step-neice who lives on base in England where her Daddy, my step brother is stationed in the US Air Force. She would love it!
